Regarding Gatherings and Services

News Flash

Shalom Living Messiah Family,

First, I would like to say THANK YOU for your prayers and continued financial support of Living Messiah during these historic and challenging days we are walking through. The encouraging messages and words I have received from you have been a BLESSING!

I am preparing to resume, in person gatherings for Living Messiah services on May 16th, 2020.

Our leadership team has spent time over the past several weeks examining, discussing and considering the many different perspectives concerning current events.

We understand that we may not all have the same view or same approach to the situation around us.

Regardless of our perspectives of the COVID-19 pandemic, we ask everyone to maintain a heart of love and respect towards each other.

We have been in continual prayer for guidance and direction for this community. Your safety is always of highest priority. We will continue to update you as necessary.

By attending services in person you assume all risks involved. We ask you to keep these three guidelines in mind;

  1. Display mutual respect at all times.
  2. If you are experiencing any symptoms of allergies or illness please join us for services online.
  3. Take responsibility for protecting yourself and others by practicing safe and healthy habits.

We respect the decision of those that will continue to join us online rather than in person and we encourage you to do so if you or your family members are at high risk.

We look forward to fellowship with each of you in YHWH’s perfect timing.

Our community meal following service will not resume at this time. Warm weather is here, bring your water bottle along with any food or drink you may need.

May the insight we each gain and lessons we learn continue to prepare us for days ahead. May our light bring glory and honor to the King of Kings.

Blessings,
Mark Webb

Psalms 52 Why do you boast of mischief, mighty man?

Psalms 52:1-9 KJV
1 To the chief Musician, Maschil, A Psalm of David לְדָוִד le·da·Vid, [52:2] when Doeg דּוֹאֵג doeg the Edomite הָאֲדֹמִי ha-adomi came and told Saul לְשָׁאוּל le·shaul, and said unto him, David is come to the house בֵּית bet of Ahimelech אֲחִימֶֽלֶךְ Ahimelek. [52:3] Why boastest מַה־תִּתְהַלֵּל mah-tithallel thou thyself in mischief בְּרָעָה berahah, O mighty הַגִּבּוֹר hagibor man? the goodness חֶסֶד chesed of God אֵל el endureth continually כָּל־הַיּֽוֹם vaed olam.
2 [52:4] Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.
3 [52:5] Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.
4 [52:6] Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue.
5 [52:7] God אֵל El shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.
6 [52:8] The righteous צַדִּיקִים tzad·di·Kim also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:
7 [52:9] Lo, this is the man that made not God אֱלֹהִים E·lo·Him his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.
8 [52:10] But I am like a green olive tree כְּזַיִת ke·Za·yit in the house בְּבֵית be·Veit of God אֱלֹהִים E·lo·Him: I trust בָּטַחְתִּי ba·Tach·ti in the mercy בְחֶסֶד־ ve·che·sed- of God אֱלֹהִים E·lo·Him for ever and ever עֹולָם וָעֶֽד vaed olam.
9 [52:11] I will praise אוֹדְךָ od·Cha thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait וַאֲקַוֶּה va·a·kav·Veh on thy name שִׁמְךָ shim·Cha; for it is good before thy saints חֲסִידֶיךָ cha·si·Dei·cha.

Proverbs 6

Proverbs 6:16-19 KJV
16 There are six things Yahweh hates, and seven things are abominations of his soul:
17 haughty eyes1, a lying tongue2, and hands that shed innocent blood3,
18 a devising heart4, plans of deception5, feet that hurry to run to evil6,
19 a false witness who breathes lies and sends out discord between brothers7.
